Make sure at the end of each sub-unit that you complete your personal progess check on APClassroom.

Unit 3 began with us reviewing intramolecular forces (chemical bonds), and then discussing intermolecular forces (IMFs). IMFs are commonly referred to as Van Der Waals forces but you will need to be much more specific when discussing them in this course. Start by watching the video here on how geckos utilize Van Der Waal forces, then move on to your unit 3 packet. |
We moved on to gas laws. While this is only 1 AP objective, there is a lot of meat here. Make sure you have a calculator and formula sheet handy! |

Gas mixtures form a solution, so in this subunit we cover solution chemistry, everything from solubility curves to concentration. Buckle up because it's time to talk about molarity! We finished this subunit by discussing the different types of mixtures. Watch the Ted-Ed video linked here for some more examples of mixtures. |
We finish this mixture of a unit by talking about various laboratory techniques done in chemistry, either to separate mixtures or to determine their concentration. We also talked about the photoelectric effect for some reason (listen man, I don't make the pacing guides for this class, I just follow what College Board says) |

After this lesson you'll need to complete the personal progress check for Unit 3. This will be a quiz grade, so do your best. Earning a score that is highlighted in yellow will earn you a 3/5, light green will net you a 4/5, but get that coveted green and you'll get earn a 5/5
