Unit 13 -- Atmospheric Chemistry
The end of the year means we begin looking towards the future. Next year you will go on to one of the four AP sciences available at Menchville High School.
If you are interested in pursuing a degree in the medial field then you will likely study biology in college so AP Biology taught by Mrs. Chassard would be your best option. If your interest lie more in the physical realm, and you wish to secure an engineering degree there is AP Physics with Mrs. White. If you have enjoyed the year of beatings that you just survived then feel free to hand aground for another year of AP chemistry with me (Year 2 Chemistry). To graduate from Menchville High School with an advanced diploma you'll need to have taken three of the four sciences we offer: biology, chemistry, earth science, and physics. Thus your guidance counselor may suggest AP Environmental Science (APES) with Mrs. DeWall. |

APES, in my opinion, is the culmination of all the sciences and a good feel for a college level science class. Therefore for any student who is unsure of their future I suggest APES for next year. More then ever it is imperative that you understand and be able to explain the world around you.
Towards that end this final unit was developed to finish off the year. There is no test or quiz, just listen and learn about why chemical equilibrium is more important than you could imagine, especially as it pertains to our atmosphere.
