AP Exam Review

YOU DID IT!  The AP exam is just around the corner, time to review some of the material we have covered so far.

​In unit 1 we covered basic atomic structure and periodicity.  Since it has been over 5 months since we last discussed it, look over these key notes provided by the National Math and Science Initiative.  Once you are done, you'll be presented with a free response and asked to correct it.

​In unit 3 we covered inter & intramolecular forces.  These are the attractions that hold all matter together so another good lesson to review.  Once you are done, you'll be presented with a free response and asked to correct it.

​In unit 5 had us discuss chemical kinetics.  The speed of a reaction is determined experimentally so review the procedure by which we determine it.  Look over these key notes provided by the National Math and Science Initiative.  Once you are done, you'll be presented with a free response and asked to correct it.

Unit 7 covered chemical equilibrium, when the rate of the forward and reverse reaction are the same.  We also looked at how to determine the equilibrium position and how to determine if a system has reached equilibrium.  ​Look over these key notes provided by the National Math and Science Initiative.  Once you are done, you'll be presented with a free response and asked to correct it.

​Unit 8 was Acid-base equilibrium.  Including titration curves, buffers, and hydrolysis!  Look over these key notes provided by the National Math and Science Initiative.  Once you are done, you'll be presented with a free response and asked to correct it.

Unit 6 & 9 was the full scope of thermodynamics and thermochemistry.  ​This topic was so large that it was in fact TWO separate units for us.  However for review sake I have put them together into one massive text.  Look over these key notes provided by the National Math and Science Initiative.  Once you are done, you'll be presented with a free response and asked to correct it.
